Role Description The Teacher role at Yello Preschool and Daycare is a full-time, on-site position based in Richmond Town, Bengaluru. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that foster curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding children through structured and play-based learning, maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment, and observing and documenting children’s progress.

The teacher will communicate regularly with families and colleagues, collaborate on curriculum improvements, and participate in staff meetings and training sessions. Upholding Yello’s values, the teacher will model positive behavior, encourage respectful relationships, and support each child’s unique potential.

Qualifications

• Strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience in early childhood or preschool settings.
• Ability to create thoughtful Lesson Planning and Training activities that support holistic development.
• Excellent Communication skills for engaging with children, families, and colleagues.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate pedagogical practices.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage a diverse classroom in a calm, organized manner.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and adapt to innovative teaching methods.
• Prior experience in a preschool or daycare environment in Bengaluru or similar urban settings is an advantage.
