Computer Aided Design Engineer

Experience: 3+yrs

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Use AutoCAD & Revit software to create and modify technical drawings, models, and plans for ELV/Security system projects.
• Work closely as a team with Security System Design Consultant/Project Managers to ensure drawings are accurate and meet design specifications.
• Convert hand-drawn sketches, existing Security drawings, or other data into Standard drawings as per Global standards.
• Create and update bill of materials and other documentation as needed.
• Review and check drawings for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
• Incorporate changes or revisions into drawings as required.
• Communicate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure drawings meet project needs.
• Assist in the preparation of design and RFP documents.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with other team members as needed.
• Create 3D models and simulations to visualize and test design concepts.
• Security system knowledge on various systems, and platforms to create wiring & GA Drawings.
• Spatial and design skills to be able to visualize & prepare Elevation drawings which include mainly Access Control system Door elevations, Panel Elevations, and CCTV Camera mounting details.
• Preparation of wiring connection drawings, develop system Architecture & schematic drawings.
• Adapt to learn different design standard formats of various clients.
• Meeting drawing delivery commitments as per project schedule, Effective time management.
• Incorporation of evolving new technologies & products in design wherever applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Diploma, ITI, or equivalent Technical Courses, CAD Certified, Revit Certified.
• Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in the design and drafting of ELV/Security systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
• Proficiency in Revit Software is a Plus.
• Knowledge of engineering or architectural principles, terminology, and design standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
