About the Role
We are looking for 7+ Years experience Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes for advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and aerospace products.
You will work closely with Design, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for UAV and aerospace products.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing industrialization.
- Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Concurrent Engineering activities.
- Develop manufacturing process plans, assembly methods, and production workflows.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including: Bills of Materials (BOM), Manufacturing Routings, Work Instructions (WI), Material Masters, Process Documentation
- Work with Design Engineers to improve product manufacturability and reduce production costs.
- Support tooling selection, fixture design, and manufacturing equipment requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure manufacturing readiness and quality of supplied components.
- Lead process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) and support risk mitigation activities.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to resolve production issues.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and support continuous knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ Years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Aerospace, Aviation, UAV, Defense, or High-Precision Manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly, integration, and testing.
- Experience in Composite Manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CATIA V5.
- Knowledge of GD&T, PFMEA, and manufacturing process planning.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Good understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001, and Quality Management Systems.
