Role Overview This role supports project development for pipeline projects, with flexibility to include pipeline‑facility scopes depending on the candidate’s background. The engineer will contribute to engineering deliverables, design reviews, and construction planning. Candidates with construction experience—especially those who have supported cost estimating—will be considered strong assets.
Key Responsibilities Support project development for pipeline and pipeline‑facility projects from concept through scope definition. Perform and review engineering deliverables such as drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports. Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with applicable codes and internal engineering standards.
Provide engineering input into FEED, early‑stage design packages, and cost estimate development. Support construction planning, including constructability reviews, responding to field queries, and reviewing redlines. Review vendor data, equipment specifications, and technical submissions.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Integrity, and Construction. Applicable Codes & Standards Candidates must be familiar with the primary codes used in pipeline and facility design, including: CSA Z662 – Oil & Gas Pipeline Systems ASME B31.3 – Process Piping ASME B31.4 / B31.8 – Pipeline Transportation Systems Relevant API standards for mechanical equipment and facilities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 3–15 years of experience in pipeline or pipeline‑facility engineering. Experience with design reviews and engineering deliverables.
Working knowledge of CSA, ASME, and API codes. Construction exposure is an asset, particularly if it includes cost estimating support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
