About This Opportunity The Project Manager, Engineering manages Product Supply Systems Canada facilities and capital equipment (Machinery & Equipment) projects in our Lachine Plant. Manage multi‑year projects in any of the 5 manufacturing facilities.
Develop projects in collaboration with the Plant and Engineering teams. Validation of scope, budget, timeline and deliverables is heavily emphasized in the planning stages. Scope, budget and timeline are critical deliverables of the project implementation phases.
Provide expertise in equipment, machinery operation, water treatment operations, syrup production, etc. to ensure operating efficiencies at production sites. Create equipment specifications and communicate them to manufacturers. Manage the process for suppliers to be included on the approved supplier list.
Participate in bid reviews and vendor selection. Develop a multi‑year capital plan for assigned manufacturing facilities in collaboration with the engineering and plant teams. Qualifications University degree in engineering or a related discipline preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset. Minimum 3‑5 years’ project management experience. Experience in the carbonated beverage industry is considered an asset. 8+ years of operations experience or maintenance preferred.
Technical expertise in facilities, processes and/or machinery utilized in the beverage industry.
