Ready to launch your global career in one of Europe's sunniest and most dynamic capitals? We're looking for detail-oriented, empathetic, and open-minded Czech speakers to join our diverse team in Lisbon, Portugal, as Content Moderators.

In this role, you'll help keep online spaces safe, respectful, and welcoming for millions of users worldwide. Your primary focus will be evaluating user-generated posts, applying community guidelines, and removing harmful, illegal, or improper material.

No previous moderation experience? That's no problem—we offer paid, hands-on training to get you up to speed.

Core Responsibilities

  • Review Content: Assess user-generated media (text, photos, videos, and audio) in both Czech and English to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
  • Maintain Platform Integrity: Identify and remove posts that break policies, including hate speech, scams, misinformation, explicit images, and copyright violations.
  • Track & Report Trends: Spot emerging online patterns, recurring policy breaches, and critical issues to escalate to team leads.
  • Deliver Consistent Quality: Make fast, unbiased decisions while meeting operational metrics and accuracy standards.
  • Stay Informed: Keep pace with updated platform rules, safety regulations, and local cultural context.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Czech Fluency: Fluent / C1-level proficiency in Czech (native status is not required).
  • English Proficiency: B2 level or higher for internal communications, systems, and training.
  • Work Authorization: EU/EEA citizenship or a valid, unrestricted work permit for Portugal.
  • On-Site Presence: Ability to work full-time on-site at our Lisbon facility.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Background in customer service, content moderation, quality assurance, or social media management is a plus.
  • Strong familiarity with modern social media platforms and online culture.
  • High emotional resilience and the ability to maintain professional detachment when viewing sensitive material.
  • Flexibility to work shift rotations, including potential weekend or night shifts based on operational needs.

Relocation & Compensation Package

Moving to a new country can feel like a huge step, so we handle the heavy lifting to ensure a seamless transition:

  • Company Housing: A private room in a fully furnished, shared company apartment, complete with paid utilities, Wi-Fi, and cleaning services.
  • Flight Reimbursement: Full coverage of your travel costs to Lisbon upon completing training.
  • Arrival Support: Airport pickup and assistance with local tax registration (NIF), social security, and health system sign-ups.
  • Health Insurance: Private medical coverage following your probation period.
  • Paid Onboarding: A structured 2–3 week training program covering moderation tools, guidelines, and safety practices.
  • Perks & Activities: Free Portuguese language courses, wellness programs (including surfing lessons), and regular team events.

Why Lisbon?

Boasting over 300 days of annual sunshine, a rich history, incredible cuisine, and a lower cost of living compared to major Central European hubs, Lisbon offers an outstanding quality of life. Whether you want to surf on the weekends, explore historic neighborhood alleyways, or relax in coastal cafes, Lisbon is an ideal place to call home.
