Role Description The Sales Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The Sales Officer is responsible for managing and expanding the customer base, meeting sales targets, and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and retailers. Day-to-day tasks include visiting market areas, promoting dairy products, executing sales plans, monitoring stock and display at outlets, and coordinating with internal teams for timely delivery and billing. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities, collecting market feedback, handling customer queries, and preparing basic sales reports.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication, to handle inquiries and maintain long-term relationships.
• Experience in Lead Generation and Sales Operations to drive new business, plan routes, and achieve sales targets.
• Background in Channel Sales to work effectively with distributors, retailers, and other partners.
• Basic knowledge of the dairy or FMCG sector is preferred, with the ability to understand product features and pricing.
• Proficiency in local language(s) and workable English communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Karanampettai, travel within the assigned territory, and manage time independently.
• Minimum high school diploma; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior field sales experience is preferred, especially in dairy, food products, or FMCG.
