Electrical Distribution | Power Distribution Equipment | Secondary Circuit Breaker Market

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid | 3 Days Onsite)

Compensation: $150,000-$200,000 Base + Bonus

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a growing electrical distribution company seeking a hands-on Head of Sales to lead its commercial sales organization. This is an executive leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, improving sales operations, and building scalable commercial processes within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.

What You7ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10-15 Inside and Outside Sales professionals
• Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions, performance reviews, and career development discussions
• Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Improve forecasting, CRM utilization, pipeline management, KPI reporting, and overall sales effectiveness
• Develop and refine sales playbooks, policies, and commercial processes
• Recruit, mentor, and develop future sales leaders
• Partner with Purchasing, Operations, Customer Service, and Executive Leadership to improve commercial execution and customer experience
• Champion practical AI and technology solutions that improve productivity and customer engagement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales leadership experience managing both Inside and Outside Sales teams
• Experience within electrical distribution, switchgear, power distribution equipment, circuit breakers, industrial electrical products, automation, or related industrial markets
• Demonstrated success coaching sales professionals and building high-performing team
• Experience creating sales processes, KPIs, playbooks, and performance management programs
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with direct executive visibility
