Overview

In this role, you will shape and lead Cato Networks' Sales Engineering organization across EMEA, driving technical wins and revenue outcomes. You’ll partner with regional sales leadership, recruit and develop teams, and standardize pre-sales methods to accelerate deals. You’ll act as the executive technical sponsor on strategic opportunities and engage cross-functionally to influence product and roadmap priorities.

This is a high-impact, fast-paced opportunity to scale a cloud-native security and networking platform and help customers modernize securely.

Responsibilities
  • Define the vision, cadence, and technical priorities for the EMEA Sales Engineering organization
  • Lead, hire, and develop regional Sales Engineers and frontline managers
  • Partner with regional sales leadership to improve win rates, pipeline quality, and revenue predictability
  • Serve as executive technical sponsor for strategic opportunities and complex evaluations
  • Standardize pre-sales methodologies, discovery, demos, and qualification across the region
  • Coach teams on business value selling, technical storytelling, and executive engagement
  • Build and nurture relationships with channel, alliance, and service-provider technical teams
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Product Marketing, CS, Support, and R&D to surface feedback and influence roadmap
  • Oversee pipeline accuracy, capacity planning, and regional risk management
  • Represent the company externally at customer meetings, partner events, and industry forums
  • Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, teamwork, and technical excellence in EMEA SOE
Key requirements
  • Proven experience leading pre-sales or Sales Engineering teams in cybersecurity, networking, SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, or related cloud-delivered infrastructure markets
  • Track record of scaling and coaching distributed teams across multiple countries and cultures
  • Experience partnering with enterprise sales leadership on strategic deals and regional go-to-market motions
  • Ability to engage credibly with executive buyers and technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of security architectures, modern networking, and cloud-based platforms
  • Proven success improving technical win rates, team performance, and pre-sales discipline
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product and customer-facing teams to influence outcomes
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA
  • A technical degree or equivalent practical experience is an advantage
