Overview

In this role you drive new business growth for FT Professional across the French-speaking region, partnering with cross-functional teams to expand our content and solutions footprint. You’ll own the regional sales plan, manage the full sales cycle, and build relationships with senior decision-makers. You also mentor a Sales Development Representative to foster a high-performing team.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve new business sales targets for the French-speaking region
  • Develop and execute the regional sales plan with growth opportunities
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to contract
  • Lead and coach a Sales Development Representative
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers and understand their priorities
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Success to drive revenue growth
  • Utilize sales tools and intelligence (FT.com, Looker, LinkedIn, copyright leads, channel partners, internal networks)
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records and keep leads and forecasts up to date
  • Stay informed on regional market, customer, and competitor developments
  • Contribute to product, pricing and process improvements for growth
  • Collaborate across support functions to ensure a strong customer journey
Key requirements
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Proven record of meeting/exceeding new business targets
  • Strong consultative selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience building relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders
  • High initiative, self-motivation and accountability
  • Understanding of FT Professional’s value proposition and customer needs
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships for commercial outcomes
  • Strategic and creative thinking for growth opportunities
  • Strong prioritisation and organisational skills with deadlines
  • Understanding of business intelligence and content-based solutions
  • Experience mentoring or coaching others (SDR)
