Cybersecurity Sales Executive

Overview

As Cyber Security Sales Specialist, you drive revenue in the UK by identifying and closing opportunities for cybersecurity software, hardware, and managed services. You combine consultative selling with a solid grasp of digital risk, compliance, and threat mitigation to address client needs. You work with senior decision-makers to map solutions from MDR, EDR, zero-trust, and identity management to business goals.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, security technology, and partner ecosystems, offering a chance to shape how organizations protect critical assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance complex deals and expand accounts.

• Identify and prospect new B2B cybersecurity opportunities in the UK
• Engage with CISOs, CIOs, and IT Directors to uncover business risks and compliance needs
• Map cybersecurity solutions (MDR, EDR, zero-trust, identity management) to customer requirements
• Lead complex sales cycles from initial presentation to contract closure
• Draft and coordinate RFI/RFQ/RFP responses with pre-sales and technical teams
• Maintain relationships with security vendors and leverage partner programs
• Collaborate across UK CEPs, BDs, ASEs, and cross-functional teams to drive cross-selling and upselling

• 10+ years of proven sales experience in complex cybersecurity solutions and services
• Success in establishing and expanding customer relationships
• Strong market knowledge and a resilient network in target markets
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at management level
• High initiative, goal orientation, and strong closing ability
• Analytical and conceptual thinking with entrepreneurial action
• Willingness to travel
• Completed Bachelor's (e.g. cybersecurity, computer science) or comparable qualifications
