Role Overview
We are looking for an Internal Communications Content & Creative Specialist who combines strong writing capabilities with hands-on design skills to support employee communication and engagement initiatives across the organization. The role requires expertise in content development, visual storytelling, stakeholder management, and creative execution for internal communication channels.
The individual will work closely with HR, business functions, leadership teams, and Corporate Communications to gather requirements, develop communication assets, coordinate with designers, and support the effective execution of internal communication campaigns, employee engagement initiatives, change management programs, and organizational communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop content for internal communication channels including emailers, newsletters, leadership messages, intranet articles, digital screens, employee campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
- Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Create communication creatives using Canva and Adobe Photoshop for employee engagement and communication campaigns.
- Translate business updates, HR initiatives, organizational announcements, and leadership communications into engaging employee-focused content.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand communication needs, and manage project timelines.
- Work closely with designers and creative agencies to develop communication assets and ensure timely delivery.
- Create basic design layouts, digital creatives, posters, banners, infographics, and presentation visuals as required.
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement programs, town halls, recognition initiatives, awareness campaigns, and internal events.
- Manage multiple communication requests simultaneously while ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain communication calendars and coordinate campaign execution across stakeholders.
- Ensure all communication materials align with brand guidelines and approved communication frameworks.
- Publish and manage content across internal communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Digital Screens, and other employee communication channels.
- Track communication performance and recommend improvements to enhance employee engagement and reach.
- Support change management and organizational transformation initiatives through effective communication planning and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Mass Media, Design, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Employee Communications, Content Development, or a similar role.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of visual communication principles and content design best practices.
- Experience collaborating with designers, agencies, and creative teams.
- Ability to gather requirements and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders across functions.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other internal communication platforms will be preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards across content and design deliverables.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or other regulated industries will be an advantage.
