🚨 We're Hiring: Technical Project Manager – Autonomous & Marine Robotic Systems 🤖

A state-backed advanced technology and research institute in Abu Dhabi is scaling a major autonomous surface & subsea vehicle programme from prototype to full industrialisation and deployment. Hiring across multiple Technical Project Manager roles to lead this growth.
What you'll do:
✅ Own delivery of complex, multidisciplinary engineering programmes end-to-end
✅ Interface between R&D, engineering, manufacturing partners & senior stakeholders
✅ Drive programme governance, budgets, schedules, risk, procurement
✅ Support FAT/SAT, commissioning & field deployment
Background we're looking for (any of):
Subsea/marine robotics: ROV, AUV, USV, BOP systems, well intervention
Oil & gas automation & controls: SIL2/SIL3, IEC 61511
Aerospace/defence R&D: TRL stage-gate, systems validation
Industrial automation / Industry 4.0 / IIoT: PLC, SCADA, HMI
Autonomous vehicles / AGVs / robotics
Large-scale infrastructure or EPC delivery (incl. marine/offshore)
Requirements:
- 10+ years delivering complex engineering/technology programmes
- Full lifecycle: concept → engineering → industrialisation → deployment
- PLC/SCADA/controls background (Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff etc.)
- PRINCE2/PMP or equivalent; Jira, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint
- Strong supplier/subcontractor & stakeholder management
- Multicultural, multi-site delivery experience
- ISO 9001 / functional safety credentials a plus
- Engineering, automation or robotics degree
- Willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
