Sales & Business Development Manager

At Vernova Techno, we help customers improve the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of critical energy infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced sales leader to grow our power-sector business across India.

Your role

·   Develop new markets and identify high-value opportunities across power generation, transmission, utilities, OEMs, EPCs, and industrial customers.

·   Lead the complete sales process—from the first customer conversation to order closure.

·   Build trusted, long-term relationships with utilities, power plants, OEMs, EPCs, consultants, and industries.

·   Understand complex customer requirements and translate them into clear, value-driven solutions.

·   Manage tenders, techno-commercial proposals, pricing, negotiations, and contracts.

·   Develop sales strategies and achieve revenue and order-intake targets.

·   Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide reliable forecasts and market insights.

·   Conduct customer presentations, product demonstrations, seminars, and workshops.

·   Work closely with engineering, service, and project teams to ensure successful execution.

·   Travel across India to stay close to customers and opportunities.

What you bring

We don’t need superheroes—just super minds.

·   Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; an MBA is an advantage.

·   5–12+ years of experience in technical sales or business development.

·   Experience in power, electrical equipment, industrial, or oil and gas markets.

·   Strong relationships with utilities, power plants, OEMs, EPCs, or consultants.

·   Knowledge of electrical testing, condition monitoring, and SF₆ or alternative-gas handling solutions.

·   Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and commercial skills.

·   A proactive, result-oriented approach with a willingness to travel.
