Job DescriptionSenior Quantity Surveyor | €15m Primary School Extension | Rathcoole, Dublin Location: Rathcoole, Dublin Sector: Main Contracting / Education Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor Salary: Excellent Package + Bonus + Pension + Benefits Join a Landmark Education Project Ward Personnel is partnering with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for the delivery of a €15 million Primary School Extension in Rathcoole. Commencing in September / October 2026, this project will provide a modern educational facility for a growing local community. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of the project from pre-construction through to final account.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute construction professional looking to join a highly respected contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects. Key Responsibilities Full commercial management of the project. Preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans.

Procurement and management of subcontractor packages. Preparation and agreement of valuations and variations. Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management.

Contract administration and risk management. Management of subcontractor accounts and final accounts. Working closely with project delivery teams to maximise project performance.

Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners. Requirements Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. 7+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role with a main contractor. Proven experience managing projects valued at €10m+.

Strong contractual and commercial knowledge. Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Experience on education, healthcare, commercial or public sector projects advantageous.
