Job DescriptionProcurement Category Sourcing Specialist - IT Hybrid and a Competitive Day Rate (12 month contract) We have a great opportunity for an experienced IT Category Sourcing Expert to deliver great value across a broad range of IT and technology categories. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end strategic sourcing lifecycle, building strong enterprise-wide relationships, and delivering robust commercial outcomes through effective supplier engagement, negotiation, and contract management. You will act as a trusted sourcing partner to senior stakeholders, driving value, compliance, and continuous improvement in a complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

Experience in Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and Cloud Services is highly desirable. ?? Key Responsibilities Maximise value and optimise supplier performance across assigned IT categories Lead the full seven-step strategic sourcing process, including: Spend analysis and market research Supplier due diligence Sourcing strategy development RFx management and bid evaluation Contracting and supplier performance management Negotiate commercial terms for new and renewed agreements, including Master Licence Agreements, cloud agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), and order forms Guide internal stakeholders through supplier selection and sourcing decisions Work cross-functionally to define requirements, develop RFPs, conduct negotiations, and identify cost-saving opportunities Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and governance standards Partner closely with Legal, Contract Management, Tax, and other SMEs to establish and renew supplier agreements Lead and participate in senior-level supplier negotiations to secure optimal cost, service, and long-term value Execute supplier relationship management activities for key strategic suppliers Manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously while delivering strong commercial outcomes You will bring ... Essential Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant professional IT procurement experience Strong experience in category sourcing, supplier management, and/or procurement Proven project and stakeholder management capability in complex, multi-project environments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Confident and comfortable leading meetings with senior internal and external stakeholders Desirable Strategic sourcing experience within IT and technology categories Strong negotiation, cost management, and analytical skills Working knowledge of commercial and legal contracting terminology Professional certifications (e.g.
