Overview

If you are passionate about customer service, thrive in a fast-paced face to face and call centre environment and have a genuine desire to make a difference in the community, we want to hear from you. You will work across our Contact Centre operations, including concierge, customer service counters and call centre operations. This role is Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

We are looking for friendly, approachable and solutions focused individuals who will be a positive ambassador for Council, building strong relationships with our community and contributing to our passionate Customer Service team.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service or contact centre role
  • High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in computer applications and customer records management systems

A Justice of the Peace (JP Certificate) or Certificate III or IV in customer service, business administration or related discipline would be highly regarded.

We Offer

  • 2x temporary full time positions, 35 hours per week with flexi-time arrangements
  • Twelve month position (to 4 June 2027) and six month position (to 24 Dec 2026)
  • Commencing salary from $64,867 to $68,799 per annum
  • Casual opportunities available with an hourly rate of $44.55 per hour (includes casual loading)
