Job Description

As a Mechanic/Technician, you play a critical role in ensuring every pre‑owned vehicle meets our safety, quality, and presentation standards before it reaches the showroom. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys variety, accountability, and a consistent workflow within a structured dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing mechanical inspections, repairs, and preparation of pre‑owned vehicles
  • Identifying mechanical rectification requirements and liaising closely with the service team to meet vehicle preparation deadlines
  • Conducting roadworthy and compliance checks in line with manufacturer and regulatory standards
  • Accurately documenting all work completed in accordance with workshop processes
  • Maintaining high efficiency, attention to detail, and quality across all assigned tasks
  • Working collaboratively with Service, Sales, and Parts teams to meet vehicle delivery timelines

Skills and Experience

You are a qualified technician who values precision, accountability, and teamwork. You will bring:

  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • Previous dealership experience, including used‑vehicle preparation (highly regarded)
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic capability
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Current Australian driver's licence
  • Full Australian working rights
