About The Role

As a Tour Guide & Experience Host, you'll be the face of The Lost Compass.

You'll welcome travellers from across the globe, introduce them to India's incredible culture, history, food, and traditions, and create experiences they'll remember long after they've returned home.

No two days are the same.

One morning you could be cycling through the quiet lanes of Old Delhi at sunrise. The next afternoon you might be introducing guests to family-run food establishments that have been serving the city for generations. Another day, you could be guiding a heritage walk through bustling bazaars or accompanying guests on a journey across North India.

This is a role for people who enjoy connecting with others, love learning, and believe that travel is about creating meaningful experiences.

What You'll Do

• Lead walking tours, food tours, sightseeing experiences, cycling tours, and day trips.
• Welcome and engage with international travellers from around the world.
• Bring Delhi's history, culture, architecture, food, and local life to life through engaging storytelling.
• Ensure every guest has a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience.
• Coordinate with our operations team, drivers, and local partners to deliver seamless experiences.
• Handle guest queries and unexpected situations with confidence and professionalism.
• Continuously learn and improve your knowledge of destinations, history, culture, and hospitality.
• Represent The Lost Compass with warmth, professionalism, and pride.

Who We're Looking For

We're far more interested in your attitude than your résumé.

You might be the perfect fit if you:

• Love meeting and talking to new people.
• Are confident communicating in English (additional languages are a bonus).
• Have a positive, outgoing, and energetic personality.
• Are passionate about travel, food, history, culture, or storytelling.
• Enjoy being outdoors and are comfortable walking for several hours.
• Can think on your feet and solve problems calmly.
• Are punctual, responsible, and dependable.
• Are available to work on weekends and public holidays.

Previous experience as a guide is welcome, but not essential. We provide training to people who are ready and enthusiastic.
