We're Hiring | Folk Art & Painting Instructor (Part-Time)


Swapaksh Learning Foundation is a NGO looking for a passionate and creative Folk Art & Painting Instructor to teach NIOS Secondary students (Grades 9 & 10) as per NIOS Board curriculum, in HSR Layout, Bengaluru.


Key Responsibilities:

Teach drawing, painting, composition, and colour theory.

Introduce students to Indian folk art forms such as Madhubani, Warli, Gond, Kalamkari, Pattachitra, and other traditional styles.

Prepare students for the NIOS Painting practical and theory examinations.

Encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression through art.

Plan engaging lessons and assess students' progress.


We are looking for someone who:

โœ” Is proficient in painting and Indian folk art.

โœ” Is familiar with the NIOS Painting curriculum (preferred) or is willing to teach according to the NIOS syllabus.

โœ” Has prior teaching experience (preferred but not mandatory).

โœ” Is fluent in English.

โœ” Is patient, compassionate, and enjoys working with adolescents from marginalized families.
