Success Architect, Marketing Cloud

Overview

As a Marketing Cloud Success Architect, you are a senior SME who guides large enterprise customers in maximizing Marketing Cloud value. You will shape technical architecture, performance, and solution design while aligning with business ROI and executive stakeholders. This IC role emphasizes advisory work, proactive guidance, and cross-functional collaboration to drive adoption and reduce attrition.

You’ll develop playbooks and lead strategic conversations to scale customer success and trust in Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud capabilities. Join a mission-driven team focused on AI-enabled marketing excellence at scale.

• Serve as a Marketing Cloud SME within the Success Architect group
• Engage strategic customers to recommend optimization of architecture, DevOps, performance, and solution design for Marketing Cloud
• Translate complex concepts to varied audiences from technical staff to executives
• Identify capability gaps and design custom solutions when needed
• Facilitate executive alignment of technology strategy with business value and ROI
• Develop and run playbooks tailored to Marketing Cloud customers
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships to support broader goals and growth

• 5+ years in enterprise consulting with Marketing/MarTech implementations
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (Email/Mobile) and at least one of Personalization, Intelligence, Account Engagement, or similar
• Deep data modeling, integration architectures, and data governance knowledge
• Marketing Cloud Engagement scripting languages (AmpScript, SSJS, GTL, WSProxy)
• System architecture design and integration patterns
• Marketing Cloud Engagement security capabilities and best practices
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Proactive, self-starting with remote work capability
