We embed it into every build. BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager , to join the Northern construction business. Responsibilities As a Site Manager you will be managing, controlling, and supporting the engineering, construction and completion of projects on time and on budget for a project in Rotherham.

Management of complex Construction process including knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical installations. Ensure that appropriate quality records are produced and monitored to verify that the works comply with specification requirements. Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Management Plan and BAM Operating Procedures, including the Construction Phase Management Plan.

Work to programme and associated deadlines. Set up and monitor handover schedules, keys, spares and completion documentation. Implement BAM construction environmental procedures on site.

Keep site diaries including records of subcontractor attendance and progress. Manage direct and sub‑contractor packages and maintain associated records. Input on buildability issues as required.

Broad construction‑based technical experience. Experience working on various types of Construction projects; school construction experience would be beneficial, although not essential. A relevant Health & Safety qualification and competence to carry out site management tasks, ideally SMSTS.

Confidence in the use of IT packages and systems. Self‑motivation and ability to work autonomously. HNC/Degree, MCIOB or equivalent, or a trade’s background.
