We embed it into every build. BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager to join the Northern construction business. As a Site Manager you will be managing, controlling and supporting the engineering, construction and completion of projects on time, on budget and on a project in Leeds.

Responsibilities Manage, control and support the engineering, construction and completion of projects on time, on budget, on a project in Leeds. Manage the complex construction process, including knowledge of mechanical & electrical installations. Ensure that appropriate quality records are produced and monitored to verify that the works meet specification requirements.

Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Management Plan and BAM Operating Procedures, including the Construction Phase Management Plan. Work to programme and associated deadlines. Set up and monitor handover schedules, keys, spares and completion documentation.

Ensure BAM construction environmental procedures are implemented on site. Keep site diaries including records of subcontractor attendance and progress. Manage direct and subcontractor packages and maintain associated records.

Input on buildability issues as required. Demonstrate a clear understanding of the construction management role, management of subcontractors, and a proven track record of exceeding targets and achieving high scores in health and safety, environmental management and the Considerate Constructor Scheme. Experience working on various types of construction projects. Broad construction‑based technical experience. Relevant Health & Safety qualification, e.g., SMSTS.

Confident in the use of IT packages and systems. Self‑motivation and ability to work autonomously. Good communication skills.
