We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Precast Design Engineer to join our technical leadership team.

Job Brief

We are looking for a dynamic Structural Precast Design Engineer with a strong commercial mindset to drive both technical excellence and business growth. In this dual-focus role, you will bridge the gap between engineering and project acquisition—taking complete ownership of tender preparation, cost estimation, and detailed structural documentation including Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

Key Responsibilities

1. Tendering & Estimation

• Tender Review: Analyze tender drawings and specifications to define scope.
• BOQ & Costing: Calculate precast BOQs and feed data to sales for bids.
• Value Engineering: Optimize designs pre-bid to cut costs and boost constructability.

2. Design & Engineering

• Structural Design: Engineer precast elements (walls, drains, culverts) per IS codes.
• Connection Detailing: Design efficient, constructible component connections.
• Drawing Review: Approve shop drawings, designs, and BBS for safety and accuracy.

3. Production & Documentation

• BBS Finalization: Generate precise Bar Bending Schedules and production BOQs.
• Plant Support: Guide production on casting sequences, molds, and element handling.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).

Experience:

• 3 to 8 years of experience.

Technical Skills:

• Commercial Knowledge: Proven experience in tender preparation, BOQ generation, and BBS preparation for precast projects.
• Software & Drafting Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Codes: In-depth knowledge of IS codes (IS 456, IS 10262, etc.).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work under strict tender deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
