Job Description

Senior Business Analyst – General Insurance Technology

The Senior Business Analyst role sits within our General Insurance technology function, supporting critical transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across complex systems and platforms. Working in cross‑functional squads, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high‑quality solutions that improve customer and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business and functional requirements definition across complex technology initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate and refine requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications, user stories, and functional designs
  • Partner closely with product owners, developers, and testers to deliver robust solutions
  • Support testing, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of system changes
  • Drive process improvement and contribute to continuous delivery within agile squads

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Business Analyst within complex IT environments
  • Strong insurance domain knowledge across areas such as underwriting, claims, or policy systems
  • Experience delivering system enhancements including integrations, workflows, and UI changes
  • Deep understanding of agile delivery practices including user stories, backlog refinement, and sprint ceremonies
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across technical and business teams
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
