SAP FICO Consultant - Fully Remote Freelance role (12 months)

We are looking for a motivated and skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join a global project team delivering a multi-year SAP S/4HANA program for a reputed international client. This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity, ideal for consultants who are ready to grow fast, contribute meaningfully, and work on real-world global challenges. Role: SAP FICO Consultant Type: Freelance (Independent Consultant) Location: 100% Remote (Work from anywhere) Duration: Multi-year engagement (Initial contract of 12 months, with strong extension potential) Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks Responsibilities Configure and implement core SAP FICO modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.

Collaborate with functional and business teams to gather and document requirements. Translate business needs into system solutions and functional specifications. Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and custom developments. Assist with data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live support. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.

Good understanding of finance and controlling processes such as Procure to Pay and Record to Report. Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation, rollout, or major support project. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills and confidence in collaborating with global teams. Preferred Skills Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments. Experience with integration touchpoints across modules like MM, SD, and Treasury.

Prior experience in Pharma, FMCG, or Manufacturing sectors. Familiarity with data migration tools and group reporting.
