Our Hamilton office has a requirement for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual interested in transferring to assume the role as Technical Sales Representative covering the Hamilton, Burlington and surrounding area. Successful candidates will possess: A University or college degree or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Professional integrity with strong interpersonal skills Technical knowledge of MRO components Inside sales (CSR) experience would be desirable but not required.
Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm. Ability to work individually and as part of a high-performing team. Primary responsibilities include: Managing an existing customer base with a strong Core customer growth plan.
Conducting a minimum of 25 weekly physical visits to customer locations. Building a Target growth plan to increase loyal customers through professional sales calls and cold calling. Demonstrates strong selling skills by the ability to prospect and qualify leads, identify customer needs, translate features to benefits, deliver effective demos, and negotiate and close.
Solve customers’ day-to-day technical problems and provide value-added solutions. Actively pursuing, delivering and reporting cost savings and initiatives. Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.
