Job Description

Lead strategic health and safety initiatives with the City of Hamilton. This Senior Project Manager role requires expertise in program development and compliance-focused leadership. In the heart of Hamilton, this position focuses on enhancing the City’s occupational health and safety programs.

You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, oversee policy and procedure development, and facilitate compliance through innovative methods. Your role will drive continuous improvement across the organization, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Key Responsibilities: • Lead development of corporate health and safety programs • Oversee implementation of risk mitigation strategies • Conduct audits and assessments on workplace safety • Collaborate with stakeholders on health and safety issues • Analyze data to enhance organizational safety practices Requirements: • Post-secondary education in health and safety; or equivalent • Extensive experience in health and safety management • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations • Strong project management and communication skills • Valid Class “G” driver’s license and personal vehicle Drive impactful change in occupational health and safety through expert knowledge and strong leadership in Hamilton. #J-18808-Ljbffr
