The Role: NPD Engineer

We are looking for a highly curious, hands-on, and multidisciplinary NPD Engineer to take ownership of developing systems for our next-generation robotic machines. You will work across the full product lifecycle—from initial requirements to production-level delivery—collaborating with global teams to solve real-world problems.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

• End-to-End Ownership: Drive the delivery of new robotic systems in an agile, fast-paced engineering environment.
• Testing & Validation: Own the design and development of testing rigs for rigorous functionality and durability testing; calibrate and refine products to market maturity.
• Global Collaboration: Partner closely with our US team and future global sites to diagnose ground-level issues and drive on-site development.
• Documentation & Quality: Author critical engineering documents, including test reports, RCA, CAPA, DFMA, and DFMEA.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as a bridge between assembly, manufacturing, drafting, software, electronics, and procurement to optimize delivery and quality.
• R&D & Vendor Management: Research complex engineering bottlenecks to identify innovative solutions and drive vendor development.

What We Are Looking For (Must-Have Skills):

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in New Product (or component) Development within an agile, iterative engineering setup.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautics, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
• Technical Fundamentals: Rock-solid grasp of engineering mechanics, Strength of Materials, Heat Transfer, and refrigeration.
• 3D CAD Expertise: High proficiency in Solidworks (specifically sheet metal design, part design, assembly, simulation, and drafting).
• Design Calculation & Blueprints: Strong knowledge of engineering drawings (GD&T, welding symbols) combined with the ability to perform rigorous design calculations (Force, Moment, Torque, Power).
• Hardware Integration: A solid baseline understanding of electronic systems to seamlessly integrate hardware and software requirements.
• Mindset: An analytical thinker with 360-degree product vision and a deep curiosity to solve complex problems.

Preferred Industry Experience:

If you have a background in Food Robotics, Kitchen Automation, Heating/Cleaning equipments, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), or Warehouse Automation, you’ll feel right at home.
