Role Description Handle procurement of service contracts, including contractor selection, rate negotiation, agreement finalization, and vendor performance tracking. Ensure timely availability of manpower, tools, and services through effective planning and scheduling. Develop and maintain an approved vendor list and ensure vendor qualification and evaluation processes are followed.

Collaborate with user departments, finance, and legal for technical and commercial clarifications. Prepare comparative statements, purchase/service orders, and ensure documentation as per company policy. Monitor contract execution, ensuring adherence to terms, safety norms, and statutory compliances.

Support cost optimization initiatives through process improvements and alternate sourcing. Manage SAP/ERP entries, PO tracking, GRN/Service entry, and payment coordination. Maintain MIS reports and dashboards on procurement status, cost savings, and vendor performance.

Ensure compliance with audit and company policy guidelines. Qualifications Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in procurement processes, vendor management, and supplier selection Experience with inventory management and supply chain optimization Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in using ERP systems and relevant software tools Knowledge of the manufacturing industry, specifically related to railway components, is an advantage Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is a plus) Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
