Data & IT Analyst Location - CST, Mumbai CTC - 5-10 lpa About Caresmith Caresmith is a fast-growing D2C personal care appliances brand focused on enhancing everyday health routines across oral care, grooming, recovery, and relaxation. With a strong presence across marketplaces and its own website, the company operates an end-to-end, in-house supply chain across sourcing, imports, assembly, and distribution , with all core functions managed internally. Role Overview The Data & IT Analyst will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing the company’s data and technology backbone .

This role requires a combination of data structuring, automation, security, and business understanding , along with the ability to leverage AI tools to solve data and IT challenges efficiently , enabling real-time decision-making and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Data Management & Tracking Build, maintain, and improve centralized databases and data systems across functions (sales, operations, marketing, finance) Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of both historical and real-time data Create and manage dashboards and reports to enable real-time tracking and decision-making Improve data structures for efficiency, scalability, and ease of use Data Security & Governance Implement and monitor data security practices across systems and tools Identify potential risks and ensure preventive controls and access protocols are in place Maintain data backup, recovery, and access management systems Work with external vendors/tools where required to strengthen security Automation & Process Efficiency Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort across teams Build workflows using tools, scripts, or integrations to improve speed and accuracy Track and optimize time savings and efficiency improvements Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of automation initiatives Business Initiatives & Analytics Work with cross-functional teams to identify data gaps and improvement opportunities Translate business requirements into actionable data solutions and insights Execute and support analytics-driven projects that improve decision-making Contribute to new initiatives with measurable business impact AI-Driven Problem Solving Use AI tools and platforms to efficiently handle data analysis, debugging, and IT-related challenges Leverage AI for faster problem resolution, workflow automation, and insight generation Continuously explore and adopt new AI tools to enhance productivity and reduce manual effort IT Systems & Support Act as a first point of contact for internal data and IT-related issues Troubleshoot and resolve system, data, and tool-related challenges Ensure smooth functioning of internal tools, integrations, and data flows Coordinate with external vendors when required Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely with teams across operations, marketing, finance, and leadership Ensure timely data availability and alignment on reporting and requirements Clearly communicate insights and the impact of data-driven initiatives Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Data Science, or a related field 1 -3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or IT systems roles Strong proficiency in: Excel / Google Sheets (advanced) SQL / database management BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Hands-on experience with: Automation tools (Zapier, Make, scripts, APIs, etc.) AI tools for analysis, debugging, and workflow optimization Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on execution mindset Good understanding of business processes in e-commerce or operations-driven environments Success Indicators Reliable, accurate, and easily accessible data across functions Reduced manual effort through effective automation Strong responsiveness in resolving data and IT issues Measurable impact of analytics initiatives on business decisions Effective collaboration and stakeholder satisfaction Ideal Candidate Profile Curious and proactive, with a strong inclination to solve problems independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment Able to balance data, technology, and business understanding Actively uses AI to work smarter and faster
