Position Details Designation: Business Manager Function: Store Operations Employment Type: On Roll Role Overview The Business Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end store operations, sales performance, customer experience, team management, café operations, inventory control, and compliance standards. The role requires a strong understanding of premium retail operations with a hospitality-driven approach to customer engagement.
The ideal candidate should be capable of managing omnichannel retail operations while ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and profitability. Key Responsibilities Drive store performance by achieving sales, profitability, audit, and operational targets. Lead omnichannel business growth including walk-ins, offline retail, and online order fulfillment.
Ensure premium customer service standards across all customer touchpoints. Build a strong customer-centric culture within the store team. Ensure effective management of café operations within the store, including service quality, hygiene, and customer experience.
Maintain strong product knowledge across gourmet, fresh, and Artisan Pantry categories to assist customers with informed recommendations. Deliver a hospitality-led shopping experience aligned with the brand’s premium positioning. Manage inventory, stock accuracy, shrinkage control, and replenishment processes.
Ensure implementation of planograms, VM standards, promotions, and marketing campaigns. Prepare store rosters, allocate responsibilities, and manage manpower productivity. Analyze store data, customer trends, and operational reports to drive business decisions.
Manage customer escalations, refunds, and service recovery effectively. Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, health, safety, and state-specific regulatory requirements. Maintain adherence to company SOPs, audit processes, and operational controls.
Create a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment. Preferred Candidate Profile Graduate in Hotel Management / Hospitality / Retail Management or MBA preferred. 6–8 years of experience in premium retail, food retail, QSR, hospitality, or café operations. Strong understanding of customer service and store operations.
Experience in managing teams and driving store profitability. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
