Position Title : Business Development Lead – Pharma & Life Sciences Talent Solutions Location: Hyderabad, Telangana Experience 5–8 years total experience At least 3 years in Pharma/Life Sciences staffing, recruitment or Talent Services sales. Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview The Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, building strategic relationships with Pharma and Life Sciences organizations, and positioning the company as a trusted talent acquisition and workforce solutions partner. The role will focus on generating recruitment, staffing, contract workforce, RPO, and managed services opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, healthcare, and life sciences organizations.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong industry networks, consultative selling capabilities, and a deep understanding of talent challenges within the Pharma and Life Sciences ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Client Acquisition Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the Pharma & Life Sciences vertical. Identify, engage, and acquire new clients across Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, Medical Devices, Healthcare, and Life Sciences organizations.

Generate and qualify opportunities for Permanent Hiring, Contract Staffing, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), and Managed Workforce Services. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, market mapping, industry events, and direct outreach. Conduct client meetings, presentations, capability discussions, and solution workshops.

Account Management & Relationship Building Develop strong relationships with HR Leaders, Talent Acquisition Heads, Plant HR Teams, Business Unit Leaders, and Procurement stakeholders. Understand client workforce challenges and propose customized talent solutions. Drive account growth through cross-selling and upselling of workforce services.

Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term partnership development. Market Intelligence Monitor hiring trends, workforce demands, and talent availability within Pharma and Life Sciences sectors. Track competitor activities, market developments, and emerging opportunities.

Provide strategic inputs for expanding service offerings and market penetration. Internal Collaboration Partner closely with recruitment delivery teams to ensure timely fulfilment of client requirements. Support proposal development, commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and SLA finalization.

Contribute to building the organization's Pharma & Life Sciences practice. Desired Industry Exposure Candidates should possess experience and established networks within one or more of the following sectors: Pharmaceuticals Biotechnology Life Sciences Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) Healthcare Services Medical Devices Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related discipline. MBA preferred.

Proven experience in Business Development, Client Acquisition, or Sales within Recruitment, Staffing, Workforce Solutions, HR Services, or Talent Acquisition. Strong understanding of Pharma and Life Sciences hiring ecosystems. Demonstrated success in generating and closing new business opportunities.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
