Job Description

The role involves pharmacy operations management, medication inventory control, compliance, vendor coordination, student/customer engagement, reporting, and healthcare service coordination within a university ecosystem. Key Responsibilities 1. Pharmacy Operations Management Manage day-to-day university pharmacy operations.

Ensure smooth dispensing, stock availability, and service quality. Coordinate prescription fulfillment and OTC medicine management. Support implementation of SOPs, operational protocols, and service standards. 2.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management Monitor medicine inventory, reorder levels, expiry management, and stock reconciliation. Coordinate procurement activities with vendors and suppliers. Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize wastage and stock-outs.

Conduct periodic audits and inventory reviews. 3. Regulatory & Quality Compliance Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, institutional policies, and statutory requirements. Maintain documentation, licenses, records, and pharmacy compliance registers.

Support NABH / healthcare quality / institutional compliance initiatives where applicable. Monitor cold chain products, storage standards, and medication safety practices. 4. University Healthcare Coordination Coordinate with university medical center, doctors, nurses, wellness teams, and administration.

Support healthcare campaigns, preventive health initiatives, vaccination drives, and wellness activities. Facilitate medicine availability for clinics, health camps, and emergency preparedness. 5. Data Management & Reporting Generate operational reports, sales reports, utilization reports, and inventory dashboards.

Analyze pharmacy consumption trends and recommend operational improvements. Maintain pharmacy MIS, billing records, and documentation systems. 6. Customer & Stakeholder Management Provide professional interaction with students, faculty, staff, and campus stakeholders.

Address pharmacy-related queries and service issues. Promote patient-centric, ethical, and customer-focused healthcare delivery. 7. Business & Process Improvement Identify opportunities for operational optimization and service enhancement.

Support pharmacy business performance, cost optimization, and growth initiatives. Participate in SOP development, audits, and continuous quality improvement projects. Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualifications Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) MBA in Healthcare Management / Hospital Management / Healthcare Administration Experience 1โ€“5 years experience in: Pharmacy operations Hospital / retail / institutional pharmacy Healthcare operations / healthcare administration University or campus healthcare exposure preferred Required Skills & Competencies Pharmacy operations & inventory management Pharmaceutical product knowledge Healthcare administration understanding Vendor and supply chain coordination Documentation & regulatory awareness Data analysis, reporting & MIS management Strong communication & stakeholder management skills Problem-solving and operational thinking MS Excel / ERP / Pharmacy software proficiency Preferred Candidate Profile Strong understanding of institutional pharmacy ecosystems.

Ability to work independently in a university healthcare environment. Organized, analytical, customer-focused, and operationally driven. Comfortable managing multidisciplinary healthcare coordination.
