Overview

As Brand Experience Lead, you shape Glossier Londons flagship into a cultural hub through in-store activations, events, and experiences. You bridge brand, retail, and culture to create moments that deepen community and relevance beyond product launches. You partner with multiple teams to deliver a cohesive experiential strategy and build lasting relationships with local creators and communities.

This role offers the chance to influence how physical retail builds culture and brand storytelling in a major city.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve the experiential vision for the London flagship to boost community and cultural relevance
  • Lead end-to-end strategy and execution of in-store events and programming from concept to post-event recap
  • Identify and secure culturally relevant partners and community voices aligned with Glossiers positioning
  • Own the flagship experiential and events calendar tied to brand priorities and product launches
  • Conceptualize activations that bring the brand to life in-store with strong guest experience and storytelling
  • Cultivate community on the ground by nurturing relationships with local creators and cultural groups
  • Drive cross-functional execution by coordinating with creative, retail, comms, talent, legal, and digital teams
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for experiences with coherent amplification across owned, earned, and paid channels
  • Serve as primary contact for partners, vendors, and agencies, managing relationships from kickoff to event day
  • Oversee budgets, contracts, and on-site logistics to ensure efficient, high-quality execution
  • Develop recaps and insights to inform future experiential strategy

Key requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in experiential marketing, events, brand partnerships, or community in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or culture-driven industries
  • Exceptional taste level and cultural intuition with ability to translate signals into brand experiences
  • Proven experience designing and executing IRL brand experiences, ideally with a retail or flagship component
  • Demonstrated track record of building and being active in communities
  • Strong network within London culture across creative sectors (food, art, fashion, music, wellness, design, emerging talent)
  • Ability to identify opportunities for Glossier to act as a platform for local creatives and communities
  • Resourceful, capable of both strategic planning and hands-on execution
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional project management skills
  • Strategic thinker and creative collaborator who fosters alignment across teams
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive problem-solver with an analytical mindset
