Overview

In this role, you will support statutory and regulatory reporting for a defined set of entities across EMEA and APAC, ensuring IFRS/UK GAAP compliance and timely board reporting. You’ll work closely with external auditors and cross-functional teams to maintain strong controls and accurate financial disclosures. The position offers exposure to multi-entity accounting, international regulatory requirements, and process improvements within a client-focused finance function.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare annual statutory financial statements for defined Group entities
  • Ensure IFRS, UK GAAP, and overseas GAAP compliance
  • Manage end-to-end reporting process including audit support and timely submission
  • Liaise with external auditors and respond to queries
  • Prepare UK and overseas regulatory and statistical submissions
  • Support regulatory reporting processes as a backup for EMEA and APAC entities
  • Produce quarterly board packs with commentary and analysis
  • Collaborate with Company Secretarial on controllership topics and board papers
  • Complete SOX-compliant balance sheet reconciliations and maintain documentation
  • Identify process improvements and risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with Controllership and business units; manage workload and deadlines
  • Contribute to Controllership projects and build relationships with stakeholders
Key requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified MAAT with relevant experience)
  • Sound understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP, and regulatory frameworks; knowledge of US GAAP helpful
  • Experience preparing financial statements and regulatory submissions
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Flexible, multi-tasking with ability to meet tight deadlines
