Accountant

Overview

As an Accountant, you will oversee daily financial operations within a respected retail finance function, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and robust control. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to manage payables/receivables, cash flow, and reconciliations, supporting audits and external providers. The role offers a stable, office-based environment with clear impact on the company’s financial integrity and performance.

• Monday to Friday 9am–6pm

• Manage full Accounts Payable and Receivable cycles
• Perform month-end reconciliations and financial reporting
• Prepare balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Produce and monitor cash flow reports
• Process invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Handle employee expenses and credit card reconciliations
• Support payroll administration and liaise with external providers
• Prepare payment runs for authorisation
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve issues
• Act as main contact for audit queries related to payables/receivables

• 5 years of accounting experience
• Proven experience in roles such as Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Finance Manager, etc.
• Must have QuickBooks experience
• Experience handling multiple currencies
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
