In this role you will provide strategic, high-value commercial guidance across a national rail programme, shaping procurement, contract strategy and governance. You work closely with senior client stakeholders to optimise outcomes, drive programme performance and deliver commercial assurance across a multi-billion-pound portfolio. You will lead advisory commissions, mentor teams and help scale commercial capability across infrastructure sectors.

• Lead high-value commercial advisory assignments across strategy, procurement, supply chain, contract management and assurance.
• Develop and implement commercial, procurement and contract strategies to optimise programme outcomes.
• Strengthen commercial governance and drive programme performance and efficiency.
• Provide independent risk and change insights to inform decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and value generation in commercial activities.
• Mentor and develop high-performing commercial teams and grow advisory capability across infrastructure sectors.

• Extensive experience in commercial advisory, management or procurement within major rail infrastructure programmes.
• Proven track record advising senior client organisations on commercial strategy, procurement, supply chain, contract management or commercial assurance.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and public-sector procurement environments.
• Experience operating in complex stakeholder environments and influencing senior decision-makers.
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Right to work in the UK.
• MRICS, FRICS or equivalent professional accreditation.
