Overview
In this role you drive new business growth for PPRO across the UK and Europe, focusing on local payment methods for enterprise merchants and PSPs. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, and partner with Sales Engineering, Client Success, and Marketing to onboard and activate customers. You’ll shape strategic relationships with decision-makers and work towards measurable revenue targets while becoming a local payments expert.
This is an opportunity to influence how merchants optimize payments at scale in a fintech scale-up environment.

Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and close new mid-market merchant contracts in the UK & European markets with focus on local payments
- Generate and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline
- Cultivate relationships with key influencers and decision-makers, including C-level executives
- Meet and exceed revenue targets and promote product adoption
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering for seamless onboarding and with Client Success and Marketing for customer training and activation
- Develop comprehensive account plans for smooth handovers to Account Management
- Maintain deep understanding of UK & European payments landscape and articulate solutions to merchant needs
Key requirements
- Proven sales experience, ideally in payments/fintech with a track record of closing deals
- Understanding of fintech payments landscape and local payment methods
- Results-driven with a history of achieving targets
- Strong commercial, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Ownership mindset with ability to manage own pipeline autonomously
- Exceptional influencing skills across diverse stakeholders, including C-level
- Fluent in English; additional European languages advantageous
