SAP Functional Analyst

One of our energy sector clients is looking for an experienced SAP HR Functional Analyst to support a major SAP S/4HANA HR transformation initiative. Job Title: SAP HR Functional Analyst Location: Calgary, AB Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite required Contract Type: Contract (CWC) Duration: 6 Months to 1 Year About the Role We are seeking a Senior SAP Human Resources Functional Analyst who can bridge business needs and technology solutions by designing, validating, and enabling scalable HR processes aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices, fit-to-standard principles, and clean-core strategies . The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and system integrators to deliver effective HR solutions and ensure business readiness for successful deployment.

Key Responsibilities: Lead SAP S/4HANA HR functional design and solution delivery Translate business requirements into fit-to-standard SAP solutions Support HR process optimization and automation initiatives Define and validate integrations across: SAP HR Workday SAP SuccessFactors SAP Fieldglass Partner with cross-functional teams and system integrators to ensure quality delivery Drive functional governance, scope management, and risk mitigation Support testing strategy, data validation, cutover activities, and go-live readiness Enable business adoption through training and change support Required Experience: 8+ years of SAP HR functional experience Strong hands-on experience with: SAP S/4HANA HR Workday integrations SAP SuccessFactors SAP Fieldglass Strong understanding of HR business processes including: Hire-to-Retire Payroll Time Management Compensation Experience supporting ERP transformation / modernization programs Proven experience with: Fit-to-standard workshops Functional design Testing & deployment readiness Stakeholder management Nice to Have: SAP or Workday certifications PMP, Agile, or ISTQB certification Experience working with large-scale energy or enterprise environments Interested candidates can share their resume at [email protected]
