Job Summary: Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. Analyzes business procedures and needs to develop detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Responsibilities: Formulates and defines scope of system and objectives.

Confers with organizational units involved to determine requirements. Oversees large, complex, more important projects or more than one project, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results. Devises sample input data to test accuracy of program.

Observes or runs test of program using sample or actual data. Conducts inquiries pertaining to the development of new information systems to meet current and projected business needs. Writes functional specifications of user needs for application development, enhancements, and testing.

Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems. Prepares functional, systems and program specifications. Prepares project plans and implementation schedules.

Confers with organizational units involved to determine requirements. Maintains and develops documentation for responsible area. Maintains a thorough knowledge and in-depth field experience regarding emerging or job technologies required to fulfill the job, this could include formal or self paced professional development.

Prepares project plans and schedules. Provides status updates of assigned projects. Recommends/conducts training.

Maintains positive relations with all employees encouraging them to suggest ways of improving IT systems. Serves as escalation point for troubleshooting issues. Maintains a good working relationship with customers and vendors.

Ensures 100% adherence to all IT and department policy, processes and procedures. Participates in the exchange of ideas and information within the department. Asks questions; encourage input from team members.

Provides regular updates to appropriate managers. Identifies creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems). Drives continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.

Assures that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant. Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are β€œbest in field”.

Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipates, meets and exceeds expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority. Confers with reporting manager on complex or unusual situations. Establishes new measurement systems if/where possible.

Exchanges knowledge and information with other iQor facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the company. Ensures 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Security, Health, Safety and Quality).

Maintains discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to iQor or customer specific. Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to the IT systems.

Understand and embrace the business and IT strategic direction. Performs other duties as assigned. Thorough knowledge and in-depth field experience regarding emerging or job technologies required to fulfill the job.

Strong communications and customer service skills. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Performs other duties as assigned. Skills Requirements: 3 or more years of work experience. Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required.

Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred. Physical Requirements: Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and/or viewing a computer terminal.

Type and/or sit for extended periods of time. Consistent attendance is an essential function of the job.
