Warehouse Manager

Location : Bhiwandi, Maharashtra Role Overview Navneet Education Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Warehouse Head to lead end-to-end warehouse and distribution centre operations at its Bhiwandi facility. The warehouse operates approximately 150,000 sq. ft. area with 120-150 manpower strength and manages multi-channel distribution operations including General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce, Quick Commerce, and Institutional business, handling business operations of approximately 175 Crore annually. The role requires a strong operations leader with expertise in warehouse management, inventory control, multi-channel fulfillment, manpower management, SAP & WMS-driven operations, process improvement, and operational cost optimization.

Warehouse & Distribution Operations Lead complete warehouse operations including inbound, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, dispatch, and transportation coordination. Ensure smooth execution of daily warehouse activities across all business channels. Improve warehouse productivity, throughput, and operational efficiency.

Inventory Management & Control Maintain high inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation. Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO compliance wherever applicable. Minimize stock variance, damages, shrinkage, and pilferage.

Lead cycle count, physical verification, and audit processes. Multi-Channel Fulfillment Manage order fulfillment for General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce, Quick Commerce, and Institutional business. Ensure SLA compliance, order accuracy, fill rates, and timely dispatches.

Team & Manpower Management Manage warehouse manpower, supervisors, and contract labour across shifts. Drive discipline, productivity, accountability, and performance culture. Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and labour contractors.

Systems & Process Excellence Drive SAP ERP & WMS-based warehouse operations and process discipline. Ensure barcode/RF scanning and inventory tracking compliance. Develop MIS reports, dashboards, and operational review mechanisms.

Implement SOPs, process controls, and warehouse best practices. Coordinate with IT/system teams for SAP-WMS integration and operational automation initiatives. Cost Control & Continuous Improvement Optimize warehouse operating cost, manpower productivity, and dispatch planning.

Drive Lean/Kaizen initiatives and operational improvement projects. Improve space utilization and warehouse layout efficiency. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, safety, and fire control requirements.

Maintain warehouse hygiene, security, and operational governance standards.
