Job Description
US Compensation Analyst (Individual contributor role) Responsibilities • Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, and survey data analysis to evaluate competitiveness and ensure pay alignment. • Prepare compensation proposals, including salary adjustments, new-hire offers, promotions, market corrections, and internal equity assessments. • Support the development and administration of retention bonus proposals and other incentive-based rewards. • Assist with annual compensation cycles (merit, bonus), including data validation, modeling, reporting, and stakeholder communication. • Manage and prioritize tickets, cases, and ensure timely, consistent, and accurate resolution. • Maintain documentation standards and ensure compliance with compensation guidelines and approval workflows. • Generate, maintain, and deliver compensation reports using Excel and other reporting tools. • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to provide compensation guidance and decision support. • Build strong relationships with stakeholder groups, influencing decisions through data-driven insights and clear communication. • Translate business requirements into compensation solutions, tools, or process improvements. • Communicate complex compensation concepts in a simplified, clear manner through email, presentations, and verbal explanations. • Ensure employee-facing and manager-facing communication is accurate, audience-appropriate, and aligned to policy. • Apply sound judgment to recommend solutions, evaluate risks, and identify opportunities for improvement. • Use advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, modeling) for compensation analysis. Requirements Graduate in any field (Preferred field will be Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related) 3 Years to 7 years of Compensation experience. Proficiency in compensation software (e.g., Oracle, Service now, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
