About you
You may be an experienced maintenance technician, engineer, or tradesperson looking for your next challenge.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 3+ years' experience in preventative maintenance, servicing, or industrial machinery.
- Has experience in automation or manufacturing environments (highly regarded).
- Comes from a mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related trade background.
- Enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working directly with customers.
- Is eager to learn and develop new technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on automated machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimise customer downtime.
- A combination of scheduled services - either 6:30 - 3:30pm or 10:00am - 6:00pm.
- Troubleshoot components such as bearings, gearboxes, motors, belts, and conveyors.
- Assist with machine installations and upgrades.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and provide technical support.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and technical assistance.
- Complete service reports and documentation.
- Participate in rostered administration days working from home.
- Travel to local, interstate, and international sites as needed.
Required Skills
- Mechanical fitting and fault-finding experience.
- Experience servicing and maintaining automated equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Customer service experience is advantageous but not essential.
