Your new role

As an Intermediate Accountant, you will work with a varied portfolio of business clients across a range of industries. You will be involved in:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for businesses, companies, trusts and individuals
• BAS, IAS and GST compliance
• Assisting with tax planning and business advisory engagements
• Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
• Supporting senior team members with client management responsibilities
• Maintaining compliance with relevant accounting and taxation requirements

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• 2+ years' experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm
• Strong understanding of business services and taxation compliance
• Progress towards or intention to undertake CA or CPA studies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to develop your career in public practice
