Role Description: The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations for Seoul Dak’s Mumbai location. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai will oversee monthly and annual closing processes, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The Senior Accountant will analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, particularly in areas such as inventory, food costs, and store-level expenses.

The role will collaborate with operations and management teams to provide clear financial insights and recommendations, support audits, and help implement process improvements and internal controls across the business.


  • Daily sales & DSR reconciliation across dine-in, takeaway, aggregators and cloud kitchens
  • End-to-end aggregator settlements β€” Swiggy, Zomato, Magicpin, ONDC β€” including commission, ad spend, penalties, disputes and GST TCS / 194-O credits
  • Purchase & payables with three-way matching, vendor recon and MSME 45-day tracking
  • Outlet expense control, rent & revenue-share leases, budget vs. actual variance
  • Fixed assets & new outlet CAPEX β€” CWIP, capitalisation, Schedule II depreciation
  • GST & TDS compliance β€” GSTR-1, 3B, 2B recon, RCM, 9 & 9C, 24Q/26Q, 26AS recon
  • Month-end close, outlet-wise P&L, MIS packs and audit support


Location & Workdays: Near Marol Naka, Andheri East - Monday to Saturday (Saturday WFH)


Qualifications & Skill Requirements:


  • Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control in a retail, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets; familiarity with Odoo / ERP systems or POS-integrated accounting tools is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes relevant to businesses operating in India.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CPA, or equivalent) are preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to interpret financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.


What we're looking for:

βœ… Advanced Excel (Pivots, XLOOKUP, Power Query) + Tally Prime / Zoho Books / SAP B1
