Overview
In this role you will support the group reporting function by analysing trends and delivering timely monthly accounts, P&L and balance sheet reviews. You will liaise with UK subsidiaries’ auditors, contribute to regulatory reporting and tax computations, and drive improvements in internal controls and reporting processes. Based in London with hybrid working, you will partner with senior accounting staff and department heads to shape financial insight and business decisions.
This is a hands-on position focused on adding value through detailed analysis, problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

- Prepare monthly group reporting accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet)
- Oversee annual statutory accounts for UK subsidiaries
- Support quarterly regulatory reporting to FCA, MAS, NFA
- Prepare monthly draft tax computations for UK subsidiaries
- Liaise with auditors and prepare schedules
- Monitor and develop internal controls and systems
- Investigate ad hoc queries from UK and overseas entities
- Support continuous changes and improvements within the business
- Conduct monthly software capitalisation reviews
- Analyse reports relative to budgets/comparatives
- Discuss variance analysis and trends with senior group accounting staff
- Manage departmental budgets for projects and procurement spend
- Review spend with heads of departments against budget/forecast
- Capture and develop new reporting concepts for business decisions
- Qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA
- Post-qualification experience (at least 2 years)
