Experienced High Needs Support Worker Wanted Alya Urangan, Queensland, Australia
Alya is seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join a growing support team in the Gympie and Sunshine Coast Region.
We are looking for someone to support a male participant with cerebral palsy in Gympie. We are looking for Support Workers who enjoy working in a structured, person-centred environment where relationships, consistency and team work matters.
This role offers stable hours and the opportunity to become part of a dedicated support team making a real difference in someone’s day-to-day life.
About the role:
You will be part of a small team supporting a participant living with a neurological condition. Support focuses on daily living assistance, personal care, mobility support, behaviour management and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
Training and clinical guidance will be provided by our Registered Nurse to ensure staff feel confident and supported in delivering care.
Typical supports may include:
- Personal care and manual handling assistance
- Supporting daily routines and household tasks
- Community access and appointments
- Working collaboratively with other support workers in the team
- Monitoring wellbeing and communicating observations to the team

Pay: $39.70 per hour
