Your New Role

As a Classroom Teacher, you’ll inspire young minds, foster a positive learning environment, and develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. You’ll also provide individual attention to students, addressing their unique needs, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes. By building strong relationships with parents and guardians, you’ll support student success and make a lasting impact on their lives.

Essential Criteria

  • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve as per Work, Teach Lead Policy.
  • Support and enrich the sacramental, liturgical, and prayer life of the school while embedding Catholic teachings, values, and practices into your teaching and interactions.
  • Expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
  • Strong classroom management and student well‑being focus
  • Proven ability to differentiate the learning to meet the needs of all students.
  • Create a learner‑centred, inclusive classroom environment aligned with curriculum policies and implement quality teaching strategies.
  • Use student assessment data to identify learning areas and tailor support to enhance student growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, contribute to the professional life of the school, and participate in ongoing faith and professional formation.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community to encourage student involvement in the life of the Church and community
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • NSW NESA Accreditation
  • Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.
