About this team:

The Technology team delivers critical platform capabilities that enable enterprise-wide data-driven financial planning and analysis. Working in close partnership with FP&A and Product teams, we architect and develop scalable planning applications, robust analytics platforms, and intelligent automation frameworks. Through our focus on data engineering excellence, we provide the technological foundation that enables business leaders to access real-time insights and execute strategic decisions with confidence.

Our team spearheads digital transformation initiatives, implementing cloud-native solutions and modern data architectures that drive operational efficiency and enhance system performance across the financial planning ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities:

• Strong proficiency in the Oracle EPM Cloud suite (EPBCS/PBCS, FCCS, ARCS) and Hyperion Planning (familiarity with EDMCS and PCMCS is a plus)
• Strong proficiency in writing efficient Business Rules, Calc Scripts, and Groovy scripts AND in optimizing them for performance
• Expertise in multidimensional modeling and Essbase cube design, including BSO, ASO, and Hybrid cubes, dimension/outline design, data maps, partitions, and application-level security
• Keen eye for building intuitive Data Forms, dashboards, and Management/Narrative Reports that enable Finance users to plan, analyze, and report effectively
• Experience in troubleshooting bugs, calculation defects, load failures, insufficient performance etc.
• Solid working experience integrating EPM with source systems such as Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), and relational databases (Oracle DB, SQL Server etc.)
• Experience with EPM Automate, REST APIs, and Lifecycle Management (LCM) for automation, migrations, and version-controlled deployments (Git)
• Experience working in AGILE teams, using tools like JIRA to update and coordinate work
• Understanding of data governance, security, and role-based access in Oracle EPM (application security, provisioning, SoD)
• Strong familiarity with core financial concepts (e.g., P&L, balance sheet, KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and management reporting) preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to optimize application performance (cube size, calculation and consolidation runtime, data load performance, form and Smart View retrieval times) preferred

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field
• 57+ years of experience in Oracle EPM/Hyperion development, including 23+ years on Oracle EPM Cloud
• Strong proficiency and proven work experience in Oracle EPM, including EPBCS/PBCS, FCCS, Essbase (BSO/ASO/Hybrid), Business Rules, Calc Scripts, and Groovy scripting
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
• Experience with Data Management / FDMEE / Data Integration for loading data into EPM, and proficiency with Smart View and Financial/Management Reporting
